Uturn Brass Band is a high-energy Colorado Springs group that blends New Orleans–style brass with funk, hip-hop, and pop covers. Known for their lively street-band vibe, they get crowds moving with bold horns, driving rhythms, and interactive performances.
Downtown Music Series: Falconaires
The Falconaires are the premier jazz ensemble of the U.S. Air Force Academy Band, performing everything from classic big band swing to modern jazz charts. Known for their tight arrangements and top-tier musicianship, they represent the Academy with high-energy shows across the country.
OCC Summer Concerts: Gentle Rain
Gentle Rain Quintet has a fresh, modern sound. Taking the classic jazz standards, this group blends traditional and contemporary styles to present an unforgettable musical experience. Sultry vocalist Marcelle Hureau tells a story in every song she sings. Saxophonist and vocalist Ed Hureau brings to the stage an almost-forgotten era of style and class. Guitarist Jim Christian adds in the blues, jazz and soul.
And bassist, Jason Crowe, supplies the rhythmic foundation with his virtuosity and melodic solo style.
Drummer, Richard Clark is amazing on any musical styles, his drumming is memorable. And Sandi Shroads brings the piano to life. Together, Gentle Rain Band brings together a sound you want to hear.

Since 2024, Suncatcher has been an emerging force in the Colorado music scene. Led by Colorado Springs-born Kyle Cervantes, the five-piece fusion band is complete with vocals, guitar, bass, keys, and of course, saxophone. In 2024, their contagious energy was captured in their first record, Odyssey. In 2026 they released a brand new single, Solaire. Inspired by artists such as Steve Gadd and Snarky Puppy, along with music from Persona 5 and old video game classics, they strive to bring utmost passion to every performance without fail.
