Sara Vaas – Chief Relationship Architect, Dizzy Charlie’s

Sara Vaas is Dizzy Charlie’s engine of connection. As Chief Relationship Architect, she leads partnerships, talent booking, and community magic-making with heart, hustle, and a very full rolodex.

A longtime force in Colorado Springs' civic scene, Sara’s spent over a decade designing programs, building coalitions, and sparking joy through neighborhood revitalization. From founding the Bancroft Park Summer Concert Series to launching programs at CONO (Council of Neighbors and Organizations), her work has always centered around one question: how do we make this place feel alive?

She’s helped create special districts, transform public spaces, and activate streets with live music and local flavor—all while making sure everyone feels like they belong. At Dizzy Charlie’s, she brings that same magic to our venue partners, civic collaborators, and the communities we serve.

Raised on jazz (her grandpa, David “Dizzy Charlie” Vaas, was a touring big band arranger), Sara carries on the legacy of making space for rhythm, culture, and connection. When she’s not curating the next event lineup, you’ll find her hiking, painting, or hosting coolest bike ride around the neighborhood.

Daniel Fox – Chief Experience Engineer, Dizzy Charlie’s

Daniel Fox builds the kinds of experiences that people don’t stop talking about. As Chief Experience Engineer at Dizzy Charlie’s, he leads event design and operations with a sharp eye for systems, aesthetics, and emotional resonance.

Before Dizzy Charlie’s, Daniel founded Unfold Fest and co-created communities centered around growth, connection, and purpose. He’s spent the past 15 years designing for delight—whether that’s for a brand, sales funnel, or a festival. His background spans creative entrepreneurship, technology, and marketing strategy, with a track record of helping small teams pull off big visions.

Equal parts structure and soul, Daniel blends process design with a love of music and how people enjoy spaces. He’s an upright and electric bass player, a music theory nerd, and a firm believer that every great gathering needs a little more space for rhythm.

At home, he’s a dad of two, and a champion of great photography, authentic conversation and always has a playlist or two of songs he needs to learn.
